Jenny Kee – Powerhouse Museum – Alan White
Over the last few weeks, ADILLA colab has been collaborating with editorial stylist Alan White on the upcoming exhibition on Jenny Kee and Linda Jackson in the Powerhouse Museum.
Alan was commission to create wigs that represent the difference stages of the life and fashions of Jenny Kee.
Alan White, Australia’s most revered session stylist, entrusted our team at ADILLA to help him bring these creations to life.
“We’re really trying to capture the work of one of Australia’s most iconic faces of fashion. I love the energy in her work and am thrilled to be directing the hair for an iconic show. To have crafted pieces that will stay in the Powerhouse Museum archives forever is a magical thing”
The exhibition launched on October 17 and will continue until March 22, 2020.
Special mentions to Paul Geronimo, Frankie Flanagan, Maddie and Clio for their efforts with the colouring of the wigs and Pulp Riot for an endless supply of wicked colours
